STAGS GUIDE TO LONDON
Daytime activities range from speedboat rides in the Thames to nude life drawing. Of course, great Stag weekend stalwarts like paintballing and go karting are also readily available. If you’re not a local then leave yourselves plenty of time to explore some of London’s sights like the London Eye. That’s not to mention time for some retail therapy too.
At night, the city is your playground and there’s no shortage of playmates. The West End is host to every type of pub, bar, nightclub and restaurant that you can imagine – and some that you can’t! In Soho you will find some of the coolest nightspots and hottest women this side of the English Channel. But the West End is not the be all and end all of the capital’s nightlife. London is dotted with pockets of nightlife – each with its own particular personality. For instance, Notting Hill is cool in an upmarket kind of way whereas Shoreditch has a younger more cutting edge vibe. Then there’s Camden, Clerkenwell and Clapham and the list goes on.
As far as entertainment goes, you’ll be spoilt for choice with hundreds of shows on offer. There are also dozens of comedy clubs and live music venues. To quote The Clash – “London calling”!
