Low cost airlines have opened Warsaw up for adventurous Hens and the city is fast becoming one of Europe's top party destinations. Forget any misconceptions you might have of a grey, drab, Soviet-era city - this place is buzzing!
When it comes to nightlife, Warsaw has an enormous array of nightclubs, bars, pubs and restaurants. No matter what your style, ultra stylish or spit and sawdust, Warsaw has nightspots to suit your needs. You'll even find the odd Irish pub (then again, what city doesn't have at least one?).
The quaint old town area was levelled during World War II but has been skilfully reconstructed during the post-war years. There are loads of historic monuments and landmarks to see including the Royal Castle and The Palace of Culture and Science. Warsaw's tram service is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to get around. You can use the local taxis but always negotiate the price before you get in.
