Madrid is the stylish, cosmopolitan capital of Spain - a very popular destination for a Hen weekend that mixes great shopping and fashion with wild nights and spectacular culture. That's not to mention the tanned Spanish hunks that call this city home. The city's so stylish even the Beckham's moved there.
El Rastro is a huge flea market where you could end up parting with some serious cash. Relaxing during the day is a real pleasure, especially if you are enjoying a drink and a meal in a café surrounded by Madrid's many Renaissance buildings.
The Palacio Real is a beautiful 16th century palace and the Parque del Retiro is where you will find some great street performers and musicians. The city is known for its cuisine and you won't want to miss the excellent tapas - snacking until you're ready to hit the bars and clubs.
If you fancy bar-hopping then the Plaza Santa Ana and the surrounding area is the perfect location for you. Kapital is a seven floor club (yup, seven floors!) with a rooftop bar. If traditional flamenco is your kind of thing then Lavapiés is worth checking out. Chueca is Madrid's gay district but also boasts some seriously good clubs.
