Dublin Stag Weekends

Dublin - the Hollywood of the Stag world, famed for its myriad bars, incredible atmosphere and Irish girls with eyes a-smiling. The capital of the Emerald Isle is a fantastic destination for a last weekend of freedom.

When it comes to a weekend away Dublin is hard to beat, and with a reputed 600 licensed premises within its boundaries you won't have to walk far before you can start sampling some of the legendary Irish craic. It doesn't take long before you discover the natural charm, wit and warmth of Dubliners. If you don't want to stray too far then make a beeline for the Temple Bar area, which has something for everyone in the shape of pubs, cafes and nightclubs - try The Palace Bar to get a taste of a traditional Irish boozer. There are also some great places to eat and, as befits the stag capital of Europe, plenty of top-notch strip joints.

Plenty of stuff to do during the day too - museums abound in Dublin and a 'Duck' tour that takes you round the city on land and water in a WWII amphibious craft is well worth a go. Of course, it goes without saying that no self-respecting stag weekend in Dublin is complete without worshipping at the altar of the black stuff - in other words taking the Guinness brewery tour. This is actually a fascinating tour where you can discover the history of the famous drink and how it is made before finishing up with a pint in the brewery's very own bar overlooking the city.
