Cork is a totally unique Hen destination offering the delights of traditional Ireland alongside some serious party action. Your Hen weekend can be as wild as you like in this most picturesque of settings.
Like most of Ireland, Cork is not short of a pub or two - in fact they line the streets. If you're looking for the legendary Irish craic then you won't be disappointed in Cork. A great place to start your evening of festivities is Oliver Plunkett Street, where you can find intimate pubs along with bigger music venues - both are a great way to acquaint yourself with a pint or two of the black stuff.
Just five minutes' walk away is Washington Street, where you'll find an array of upmarket cocktail bars where you can kick-start your night out.
That's just a warm-up though - there are scores of nightclubs offering every kind of music your Hen party could want. And with all those friendly locals with sexy Irish accents, it's sure to be a night to remember.
The next day, you might fancy a bit of well-earned pampering, so why not check out one of the city's acclaimed spas for some total body relaxation? Shopping in Cork is excellent too and it's worth whiling away a few hours exploring the quirky little shops nestled amongst the usual high street chains. If that leaves you peckish there's no shortage of classy bistros where you can grab anything from a quick bite to a gourmet three course meal.
All in all, Cork's a great choice for a truly cracking Hen weekend.
