With Cardiff Bay, the River Severn and the Brecon Beacons on its doorstep, this is the perfect base for outdoor Hen weekend activities like powerboating, clay pigeon shooting, sailing and horse riding.
Once you've worked up a thirst you should head into town to experience some Welsh nightlife. Most of the action can be found in either the city centre or Cardiff Bay area. I know what you're thinking - Cardiff is just full of beer swilling, rugby-mad Neanderthals who wouldn't know a cool bar if it bit them. While it's true that the rugby crowd is easy to find, there are also plenty of trendy bars and clubs like sodabar if you prefer.
