Budapest Stag Weekends

Budapest - shining city of castles and bridges set against the stunning majesty of the river Danube. It also happens to be one of the best places for a drunken and debauched weekend in the whole of Europe!

The Hungarian capital is a hotbed of night time activities. Hungarians love to drink - especially wine, which is cheap and delicious. The beer is also great and be sure to try Unicom - a dark black Hungarian spirit that will knock your socks off!

The city has a huge amount and variety of drinking establishments. If you are going in the summer then be prepared to get your feet wet as the place to party is the Danube, where riverside bars host sprawling open air parties. If you want to try something a bit different, visit the Dokk Beach nightclub on an island in the middle of the river - this place is huge and offers six different themed areas with something to suite every taste.

Don't miss having a look around this grand old city - often referred to as 'The Paris of the East', Budapest has a long history and this is reflected by the wealth of different buildings and styles of architecture. It is a big city but many of the sights are within walking distance of the city centre and it is well served by a metro line, buses and trams. A cruise along the Danube will be rewarded by a closer look at some of the magnificent bridges that span the river.
