Cheap and very, very cheerful - Bratislava is an awesome place for a Stag weekend. An intriguing mixture of ancient capital, old-style communist city and modern tourist destination, Bratislava is a refreshing change from many more popular Stag venues and, with beer at 50p a pint, it won't break the bank.
Bratislava is a beautiful city and a walk around its compact medieval centre is a good way to spend a day. Be sure to climb up Castle Hill to visit Bratislava Castle - a huge and impressive structure that houses a museum and offers spectacular views across the city. Also, try popping into the Municipal Museum in the Old Town, which has a truly frightening medieval torture chamber to gawp at!
Don't panic, Bratislava is not just about castles and torture chambers! The city comes alive at night to reveal a very different side - one of bustling bars, super strip joints, and cosmic clubs. The action takes place in the city's Old Town, which is full of incredible nightspots. Try having a few foaming Pilsners in a traditional Slovak boozer before hitting the town to acquaint yourselves with the huge amounts of stunning Eastern European females that live in this amazing city.
