OK, let's cut to the chase - you are not going to Benidorm to admire the architecture or soak up the Spanish culture. You are going to party - and for that there is no finer destination than Benidorm!
Benidorm is a raucous mix of British seaside resort and Spanish hotspot. The resort has actually changed quite a lot since its 70s image of Brits abroad and is now home to some superb restaurants, bars and nightclubs along with the obligatory British pubs and cafes. Whether you want fish and chips or paella you are going to be in luck in Benidorm.
The nightlife is fantastic - the place is absolutely packed with bars, clubs, pubs, cafes and strip joints. Be sure not to miss the legendary cabaret shows that kick off at around 9 every night and are usually free. There is something to suit every taste in Benidorm and the prices - and the women - are cheap (only joking girls!).
A perfect hangover cure the next day is the nearby waterpark - one of the biggest in Europe with a huge variety of chutes, slides and tunnels. Golf and watersports are other options and Benidorm is ringed by mountains for those with the urge to explore. Not feeling that energetic? No problem - lay back on one of Benidorm's gorgeous beaches, sip your sangria and soak up the sun.
