We try to be as fair as possible when it comes to advert positions on the page and will always aim to put advertisers above any in-house campaigns. However, bearing in mind that not everyone can be at the top, we have introduced the following policy. All adverts fit into one of the following 2 categories:

1. Non-positional bookings (bookings under £100) – unless a 'positional booking' is made (see below), advertisers with the largest booking values will tend to appear nearer the top. For instance, an advertiser that has made an £80 booking will tend to appear above an advertiser that has made a £30 booking. Please note that, if another advertiser subsequently makes a larger booking than you, they will probably appear above you. 'Non-positional booking' positions are at the sole discretion of StagsandHens.com and specific positions can only be requested by making a 'positional booking' of over £100 (see below).
2. Positional bookings (bookings over £100) – specific positions can only be requested if your booking value is over £100. Positions are based on a bidding system (similar to Google) where the highest bidder gets the highest position on the page. Please contact us to find out the current bid per thousand impressions for the page you're interested in. Bids can only be increased in increments of £0.50 per thousand impressions. For instance, if the current bid is £4.50 per thousand impressions, the next bid will need to be £5.00 per thousand impressions (£0.50 more than the last bid). Requesting a position preference does not guarantee that your ad will always be shown in that position as you may subsequently be out-bid. Your ad will still appear in other positions, though we will always make every effort to display your ad where you prefer.

Something to consider – we have found that the quality of an ad can be much more important than its position on the page. While position helps, it's not everything.
